The business unit Marketing & Sales plays a key role in the fast-changing energy market. It offers tailor-made solutions for each customer, characterized by quality and close support and acts through marketing subsidiaries and partnerships with local operators. They ensure a fresh perspective – not only with regard to the products we supply but also in relation to the way in which we provide them and our relationship with customers generally.

The digitalization and the changed buying behavior of consumers has put marketing departments under pressure. The marketing has evolved a lot, from traditional outbound, standardized, one shot campaigns that use traditional media to continuously integrated campaigns that are constantly improved. The new approach in which digital is a key driver, has to continue to evolve in order to be able to meet those continuous challenges. In this challenging context we are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager.

Your mission

  • you drive the vision on digital, fuel the roadmap and are the motor to realize this roadmap; you obtain buy-in and approval for this roadmap on C-level
  • you are responsible for the life cycle management of all existing and future digital channels (web, mobiel, messaging, chatbots, digital assistants,…), digital applications (both public and restricted to customer area) and marketing tools (Marketing Automation Platform, SEO, SEA, A/B testing, personalisation,…)
  • you act as business lead in all digital change
  • you act as change manager to realize the added value of digital changes in the organization
  • you manage and oversee the digital marketing team that supports all segments for all digital marketing activities, and ensure that the different digital roles cover the overall digital marketing expertise required to execute the business strategy:
    • digital campaigns
    • digital marketing specialists
    • product owners in digital projects


  • you are a Senior Project and Change Manager
  • you are able to develop a vision and realize it
  • you have a good understanding of marketing and marketing program logic and objectives
  • you have a very strong feeling of customer’s needs and behaviors
  • you find creative solutions, innovation drives you
  • you can communicate effectively, both verbal and written, in Dutch, French and English
  • social media and mobile devices, following digital evolutions and integrating opportunities are part of your DNA
  • you have strong analytical skills with marketing science and work in close partnership with IT
  • you are a native multi-tasker and strong team player
  • you are fascinated by the digital world in all its aspects and are able to inspire others
